Main advantages
Why the Seychelles works
One of the most popular offshore jurisdictions on earth, for boring, practical reasons: it's cheap, it's fast, and companies that trade internationally simply aren't taxed.
Taxes +
An IBC earning its income outside the Seychelles pays no corporate income tax at all. Profits stay in the company or come out — either way, the Seychelles takes nothing.
One nuance the brochures skip: dividends paid to non-residents are, in the classical case, subject to a 15% withholding tax. Whether it touches your structure depends on how the money flows — a five-minute conversation on the free call.
Duration +
Incorporation takes a few days at most — the machine is decades old, the volumes are huge, and the process has been polished smooth. Budget one business week end-to-end to be safe.
Double tax agreements +
The Seychelles holds one of the widest treaty networks in the offshore world, with double taxation agreements covering China, Singapore, the UAE, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Belgium, Indonesia, South Africa, Qatar, Mauritius and some twenty other jurisdictions, plus information-exchange agreements with the Nordics, the Netherlands, Switzerland and India.
The headline, though: after landing on the EU blacklist in October 2023, the Seychelles was removed from it on 20 February 2024. That delisting matters — it's the difference between a jurisdiction banks tolerate and one they flee.
Documents +
The checklist is minimal: passport scans of every director, shareholder and beneficial owner; a power of attorney for remote registration (we prepare it and walk you through it); and certified corporate documents where a shareholder is itself a foreign company. Pick a name, pay the fees, done.
No financial reports +
Nothing is filed, nothing is audited. Under the IBC Act (2016, as amended in 2021) the company must keep proper accounting records sufficient to show its position — privately. They're not open to the public, but must be producible if the Registrar or Financial Services Authority ever asks. Housekeeping, not disclosure.
Remote incorporation +
The whole process runs remotely — no flight to Mahé required. We draft the power of attorney for your chosen services; you have it notarised (apostilled where your country demands full legalisation — the Seychelles is a Hague Convention member); we verify it; you courier the physical original; we do the rest.
What a Seychelles IBC is used for
Popular structures
One umbrella over the group
A Seychelles IBC sitting above your operating companies consolidates ownership in a flexible, confidential, tax-neutral wrapper — a proven vehicle for holding entities and assets registered elsewhere. Tax planning around intra-group flows belongs with licensed tax counsel, and we'll say so rather than improvise.
Discuss a holdingSelling to the world
No physical presence needed, no visit to incorporate, no tax on foreign income — which is why dropshippers, SaaS founders and digital sellers default here. And "e-commerce" reads broadly: established goods traders use the same structure to expand internationally.
Discuss e-commerce setupForex & crypto, properly licensed
The Seychelles earned its financial-hub reputation in the 2010s — not always flatteringly. The FSA has since built real rules: forex now runs under a proper securities licence, and crypto platforms need their own authorisation. We handle the licensing path end to end, because the era of "just incorporate and trade" is over.
Discuss licensingHolding what matters
Securities, IP rights, bonds — an IBC holds them for you or for another company, for protection, planning or intra-group purposes. Managing assets for third parties is also viable, but regulated: it runs under the Seychelles investment licence, which also covers portfolio management and trading platforms.
Discuss asset holdingThe remote professional's company
Low cost, fast setup, zero tax on international income — for consultants serving clients across borders, a Seychelles IBC is the simplest wrapper there is, provided the services aren't sold into the Seychelles itself.

The full process
Few places on earth make incorporation this easy. The honest summary: hand us the documents, wait a few days.
Plan & prepare Preparation
Choose at least three company names (in case your first pick is taken) and gather the short document list. This is where the free call earns its keep: you leave it with a roadmap, a checklist and an exact quote.
Incorporation 1 week
Documents in, project explained — your part is done. We run the registration; in practice it can complete in as little as 2 days, though a full business week is the honest planning assumption. You receive the complete corporate document set of your new IBC.
Bank account 4 weeks
The candid part: banks flag the Seychelles as the offshore jurisdiction, so expect longer interviews and higher fees than an onshore company would face. We know which institutions actually bank Seychelles IBCs and we make the introductions with your file already prepared to their standard.
The details
Seychelles formation in depth
How registration works
A passport scan is usually enough to start; a certificate of registration is added where a shareholder is a legal entity. There is no meaningful minimum share capital — in practice, $1 will do. With a signed power of attorney, we complete everything without you leaving home, typically inside one business week.
Books, audits & filings
Proper accounting records must be kept — enough to show every transaction and the company's position — but nothing is filed and nothing is audited. Records stay private, producible only to the Registrar or FSA on request.
Who can see what
The Seychelles keeps a searchable registry of companies — but neither directors nor shareholders appear on any public register. Add lawful nominee directors and shareholders on top, and the distance between the public record and the real owner is as wide as anywhere in the offshore world. We keep you on the legal side of that line.
The rule that surprises people
Here the Seychelles inverts the usual logic: economic substance isn't required for an IBC — local activity is prohibited. An IBC keeps a registered address but may not do business inside the Seychelles; if it does, it gets requalified as a domestic company and loses the tax exemption. Directors and shareholders, meanwhile, can live anywhere.
Accounts for Seychelles companies
Many banks flag the jurisdiction as high-risk and only consider files that arrive through a known introducer. That's the service: we prepare your compliance file, choose institutions that genuinely onboard Seychelles IBCs, and apply on your behalf as part of the formation.
IBC, trust or foundation
The IBC is the classic: cheap, confidential, and built to run 100% remotely. Alongside it, the Seychelles offers trusts for private asset management and foundations for charitable purposes. A domestic LLC is possible on request — but it carries no tax advantages and tighter rules, and we'll tell you if that trade ever makes sense for you.

FAQ
About Seychelles registration
How much does it cost to register a company in the Seychelles? +
It's among the cheapest IBCs anywhere — our packages start at €790. The final number depends on nominees, apostilles, accounting and banking; one free call gets you a quote fitted to your budget, usually the same day.
Is the Seychelles considered a tax haven? +
It's tax-neutral, and it wore the EU blacklist badge briefly — added in October 2023, removed in February 2024. The lingering effect is on banking: many institutions still treat the jurisdiction as high-risk, which is exactly why our account introductions exist.
How do I open a bank account in the Seychelles? +
It depends on whether the company already exists, what it does, and which services you need. We handle the application as part of formation: file prepared to bank standard, submitted to institutions we know will actually look at it.
What is a Seychelles company actually good for? +
Any activity where confidentiality and cost matter and no physical footprint is needed: holdings, e-commerce, consulting, asset ownership. The honest limitation: most banks are cold toward offshore companies, so design the banking strategy before incorporating, not after.
How much is the business tax in the Seychelles? +
0% for an IBC earning its income outside the Seychelles, with no business done inside the country or with its residents.
How much does a Seychelles IBC cost? +
One of the lowest incorporation costs of any offshore jurisdiction. Tell us your activity and budget and you'll have a tailored quote within 24 business hours.
Is the Seychelles good for business? +
It's arguably the most popular offshore jurisdiction in the world — low cost, fast setup, minimal requirements, solid confidentiality, and a government that wants the business.
What exactly is a Seychelles IBC? +
An International Business Company: a legal entity registered in the Seychelles that operates entirely outside it — no local premises, no local customers, no local tax.
Is crypto business legal in the Seychelles? +
Yes, but no longer in the wild-west sense: the registry now strikes off companies running unlicensed crypto activity. The right path is proper authorisation under the Seychelles framework — a process we run end to end. Ask us for the current cost and timeline.
