Why investors choose it

5 benefits of Dominica citizenship

1

Best price in the region

The $200,000 entry point undercuts every other Caribbean programme — the rational first quote for price-driven applicants.

2

Global mobility

140+ destinations visa-free or visa-on-arrival, including the Schengen states, the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong.

3

Fastest real-estate exit

Approved property can be resold to the next CBI applicant after as little as 3 years — the shortest holding window in the Caribbean.

4

Tax optimisation

No tax on dividends, interest, royalties or capital gains for Dominica tax residents — and no wealth or inheritance tax.

5

A 10-year passport

The first passport is issued for 10 years — double the validity of St Kitts, Antigua or St Lucia — and citizenship is hereditary.

One investment, citizenship for all

Procedure

Five steps to the passport

Entirely remote — Dominica requires no visit at any stage, and the investment is made only after approval.

1

Preliminary check 1 day

Our compliance side screens you against the same international databases the CBI Unit uses — confidentially, on a passport copy alone.

2

Document preparation 2–4 weeks

Passports, certificates, bank statements. Lawyers assemble the file, complete every government form, and submit to the CBI Unit.

3

Due Diligence & processing 3–5 months

The Unit vets every family member over 16, and a mandatory interview is conducted online for applicants 16+.

4

Approval & investment 2–4 weeks

On approval — and only then — you fulfil the investment: the EDF contribution or the property completion.

5

Passport 2–4 weeks

The naturalisation certificate and the 10-year passport are issued and couriered — no travel to Dominica required.

FAQ

About Dominica citizenship

Why is Dominica the cheapest Caribbean option? +

The $200,000 EDF entry is the lowest in the region under the 2023 US–Caribbean framework and the 2024 regional MoU on minimum pricing. Below-price "discount" offers circulate — and are the fastest route to a future revocation. Pay the published price, through licensed channels.

Do I ever need to visit Dominica? +

No — the process is entirely remote, interview included (conducted online for applicants 16 and over). Visiting the Nature Island afterwards is a pleasure, not an obligation.

When can I sell the property? +

After 3 years if sold to another CBI applicant, or 5 years otherwise — the shortest exit window in the Caribbean, with rental income in the meantime.

Is dual citizenship allowed? +

Yes — Dominica places no restrictions on holding other passports, and citizenship passes to future generations.
