Why investors choose it

5 benefits of Türkiye citizenship

1

A real asset, a real market

$400,000 buys Istanbul or coastal property with genuine end-user demand — your qualifying investment is a live asset, not a paper share, sellable after 3 years.

2

US E-2 treaty country

Türkiye holds an E-2 treaty with the United States: citizens can pursue the investor visa to live and run a business in the US — the same door Grenada opens, at continental scale.

3

A serious passport

Visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 110+ destinations including Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong — plus a heavyweight consular network.

4

The whole family, fast

Spouse and children under 18 are on the application; processing runs 3–6 months with no language test, no residence requirement, no interview.

5

A base between worlds

Istanbul is a three-continent hub: EU customs union, Middle East reach, direct flights everywhere — and a lifestyle upgrade thrown in.

One investment, citizenship for all

Who can be on the application

The spouse and minor children acquire citizenship together with the investor — immediately, not after years of waiting.

Investment options

Four ways to qualify

Real estate is the route nine in ten investors take — but deposits, funds and capital investment qualify too.

Option 1 — the standard

Real estate purchase

$400,000+

One or more properties totalling $400,000+ (official valuation), annotated against resale for 3 years — then sell freely. Rent it out meanwhile; Istanbul yields are real.

Purchase$400,000+ total, official valuation report required
Holding period3 years (annotation on the title deed)
NoteFully repeatable with multiple units; new-build and resale both qualify
Option 2 — banked

Bank deposit

$500,000+

A $500,000 deposit in a Turkish bank, held 3 years — capital preserved (currency risk aside), citizenship earned.

Option 3 — funded

Investment funds / government bonds

$500,000+

Units in approved real-estate or venture funds, or government bonds, held 3 years.

Option 4 — enterprise

Fixed capital investment

$500,000+

A direct capital investment certified by the Ministry of Industry — or employment of 50 Turkish citizens.

Government fees (Due Diligence, processing, passports) come on top and depend on family composition — request the exact, personalised calculation on a free call.

Procedure

Five steps to the passport

No language test, no residence requirement, no interview — the fastest big-economy citizenship on the market.

1

Structuring & search 1–2 weeks

We define the budget and the asset: district, developer, yield profile. A tax number and a Turkish bank account are opened — remotely with a power of attorney if preferred.

2

Purchase & valuation 2–4 weeks

The property is bought, the official valuation confirms $400,000+, and the title deed is annotated with the 3-year no-sale commitment.

3

Certificate of Conformity 2–4 weeks

The Ministry certifies the investment qualifies — the formal green light for the citizenship file.

4

Residence & citizenship application 1–2 weeks

A short-term residence permit is issued (no stay required), and the citizenship application is filed for the whole family.

5

Citizenship & passports 3–6 months

The application is examined and citizenship granted by presidential decision; identity cards and passports follow.

FAQ

About Türkiye citizenship

Can I sell the property after 3 years? +

Yes — freely, to anyone, at market price. The 3-year annotation simply expires. Many investors exit at a profit; the citizenship, of course, stays for life and passes to your children.

Is the E-2 path real? +

Yes. Türkiye is a US E-2 treaty country: as a Turkish citizen you may apply for the investor visa to live in the US and run a substantial business there — renewable indefinitely. (Like all E-2s, it is a visa, not a green card.)

Do I need to live in Türkiye or learn Turkish? +

No residence requirement, no language test, no exam, no interview. The residence permit issued during the process carries no stay obligation.

Is dual citizenship allowed? +

Yes — Türkiye permits multiple citizenship without restriction. Check your home country’s rules; Türkiye will not be the problem.
